the art of industrial design was pushed to natural field research directive and idealization. drawn inspiration ranged from several interactions, natural and man-made such as; shape of rocks, the shape of stacking such rocks, the action to build and have critters interfere, the flow of a river and the beauty of a stone cavity beneath the waterfall. much of what has been accomplished by all engineering and design draws from what is natural.
just like composing music.
the project photography model was produced in the california college of the arts cnc machine, consisting of 3 separate machining jobs each involving two-side machining. the 50lb foam model was then prepared for the spear-mesh mock-up consisting of flaked off-white paint and hotgun applied vynil for the bottom.
the resulting model was faithful to the concept and produced valuable insights.
Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.
The layers of the musical composition become directed towards the best performing part of the speaker, separating high, mid, and low notes.
The audiophile speaker concept considered optimum audio output in musical instrument fabrication as directive, with focus on percussion and string instruments.
Audiophile systems need to use the design and engineering present in the form of the resonating chambers to it's maximum potential, while maintaining fidelity to the octaves in each note. the shape of the instrument also directly affects the audio gain from amplifying the sound waves through a shell-like output surface

the concept also brought together efforts of understanding organic forms and nature-inspired sound development. general style choices involved minimal surface noise and a shell-like sound dispersing opening. the design directive also borrowed from shapes of stones, drift wood and dry leaves. The surface feel of upward facing surfaces was set to allocate speaker-mesh fabric, allowing for the bottom to house injected-plastic anchor-points for the hardware.
